Read
For younger kids, we recommend reading through narrative books, as your child gets older begin to read through the New & Old Testament.
Excellent Bible to use with young children:
Narrative Books: Genesis, Exodus, Joshua, Judges, Ruth, 1 Samuel, 2 Samuel, 1 Kings, 2 Kings, 1 Chronicles, 2 Chronicles, Ezra, Nehemiah, Esther, Matthew, Mark, Luke, John, and Acts
Pray
Pray together! Your family can take turns praying or have one individual pray.
We recommend praying about something you read about during your “Read” time.

Sing
Sing hymns or praise songs together! You can use an old hymnal (we have several books in the church we would be happy to repurpose), looking up videos online with lyrics, or using our Sunday Morning lyrics that are emailed weekly are all good options for singing with your family.
